How much on average would it cost to customize your closets and/or office? I'm thinking of customizing a walk-in closet and a Den with a small work area/office and media. It wouldn't be a very large job since the rooms are not huge. I would honestly say just about your average space for a home. I am looking into closetfactory.com. Has anyone used them? I just need an idea on costs for such a project? I'm hoping under $1000 per room. Any suggestions are welcomed. I'm such a newbie to all of this home stuff. It's my first home!

Hello, I'm thinking about expanding the closet in my master bedroom by opening the wall to the closet on the other side of the wall. The closet on the other side currently belongs to that bedroom. Decorating ideas for an office? i"m 18 and I just got permission from my parents to redo an old unused closet into an office for me. It's a very small closet, just big enough for me to put a tiny table and chair in with a little bit of extra room. I'm very creative. I like to sew, draw, paint, and other stuf like that. But most of all I really like photography. I would really like to frame a lot of my black and white pictures on the wall. So I want a color pallette that is very inspiring, that would bring out the creative side of me, but it also has to go well with the black and white photos I'm going to put up. So if you have any color ideas, I would appreciate the input. I'm opewn to anything from calming and relaxing to funky and crazy. How much does an exterminator cost in nyc? I live in brooklyn and my roomate and I just found out we have bed bugs. Home Office -Can I take deduction? I really need Help? I was able to open a little giftshop with the help of my parents in 2001. A year later I was accepted at a local college (fine art major), so I closed the giftshop& stored everything in our home office & its closet. If so, if I claim the deduction this year all of sudden, would it make the IRS examine me? Should I report any income/loss from EBay sales? If I have income, am I subject to self employment tax? Any tips on creating a decoupage desktop? I am turning a long closet into an office with a long workspace along one of the walls. To do this, I will be cutting a piece of plywood to size and using a filing cabinet on each side for legs. I would like to decoupage the desktop using attractive wrapping paper to cover the entire surface. Can I just use Elmer's or wood glue to fasten the wrapping paper before applying the epoxy? Will using wrapping paper pose any special challenges (since it will probably be one long piece instead of little ones)? Does the plywood need to be primed first? Will I need to apply some sort of varnish? So many questions! I would really appreciate your help! I have Mod Podge at home...can I use that to stick the paper down and then go back over it with the same stuff to finish it?

Office Romance - When to come out of the closet? Hi guys. I have a question... My bf and I met at work a year and a half ago. I no longer work at our old workplace anymore but he still does. Rumours about us dating were circulating during the time I was there but we never confirmed anything and kept things secret to maintain professionalism. I left the place months ago and we're pretty serious. We've met and spent time with each others folks, friends and we always spend time with each other every weekend and always call throughout the day. I can tell he's starting to feel insecure because he doesn't see me everyday anymore and due to the nature of my new job, I made some new friends and go to out dancing and to parties more often without him. He says that he feels left out sometimes and would like to meet my new clubbing buddies especially the guys - I guess to make his presence known. I also feel a little insecure because he's always been a flirty touchy-feely guy even before we started dating. There's currently a girl who sometimes drives him home cause they live close to each other who I know is a flirt because when I still worked there, she asked me if one of our male coworkers had a gf and even after she knew he did, she was still intent on stealing him from her - she failed though. Also, we used to have another ex-coworker who used to hit on him who he'd flirt with as well before (even though we were already together at the time) who still visits our old workplace on ocassion so chances are they'd still bump into each other while I'm not around.
