Can I pick up a package from the post office?

Okay so, Im a closet transgender.. I don't need some christian preaching that im sinning.. ..but I want to order stuff from online, obviously cant have it shipped to the house. So can I get it delivered to the post office? Will it cost anything? And how do you do it? Will I have to open a P.O. box... cause thats costs alot... =[ thx.
