What colours for my room?

Well my furniture is staying because I bought it custom made for my room . It is formica which is grey blue and white speckled. Also My doors are solid wood doors on my closet and entrance door. They have matching silver decorative handles. What colour walls, carpet, curtains, and other things should I get to fit my pre teen boy room? I am keeping my comforter which is grey and has royal blue trim and a ny mets symbol in the middle. I have baby blue walls now and a darker blue carpet now i want to leave the blues.

1. i think for a pre teen boy turquoise walls are nice, with a gray carpet, since you have silver decoration. and for the curtains i think you should stick with white, since white brings colors to the room, but if he likes dark colors, then try to find a curtain that is about the same color as the wood. and i think that for his bed, try to find turquoise and brown, those colors really go together.
