Is home cluttering really this bad?
I read everywhere that one of the best thing to eliminate stress, save money and time is decluttering your home. If you are a rat-pack you have mind clutter? Is clutter this bad?

- clutter is bad alo it takes up space gives ya stress you don't know where to put things it gives like an image how your mind is
- if you are a litterer, you are lo maintenance. if u r lo-maintenence, you dont get stressed. simple, really.
- I grew up with a hoarder on the family. My grandmother was horrible about keeping everything, she may need it someday you know! I love clean and organized, and I do just that in my home. I keep nothing that I don't use at least once a month. My DVDs are all alphabetized, and we have about 300 of them! I vacuum daily and dust daily. I have a place for everything and everything goes there...if it doesn't get put back, then it gets thrown away. I don't tolerate clutter in my household! I like my home this way...that way if anyone were to just stop by...the house looks like I just cleaned it, although I didn't! I do have a filing cabinet that I keep all of our paperwork in. I save everything when it comes to paperwork. This is one section that I have an abundance of! The folders are all labeled and color coded for each family member and for medical, insurance, car, truck, work, and so on. I have a problem with always having things organized. I am a big neat freak!
- Clutter is usually caused by holding onto objects due to memories (wedding day, a family member passed on, births, etc) or collections that got real large. Memories are fine but holding on to things and not be able to enjoy them is a waste and is not honoring the memory of which they are connected. It can also lead to stress due to lack of room, finances if paying for storage, increase of insects making homes in the clutter and trying to remember everything you have. Better to dwindle down to a few things relating to the applicable memory and keeping the collection to a manageable number can really be a blessing to your mind and home.
- There is a huge difference in saving things because they are meaningful & saving every newspaper that has ever crossed your threshold. I have a things that I have collected over the years that mean a lot to me & there is no way someone else can tell me to dump those things. It is like saying trash your memories & dump on all of those feelings. Yes, those things can be taken to extremes and that would be unhealthy. You shouldn't keep so much junk that you can't walk through a room or that it creates a health hazzard. Some clutter is OK! Just don't over do it.
